I’m a 27 year old husband, dad, brother, son, and friend. And a student minister. I’m not-so-newly married (We’re at three and a half years which isn’t exactly brand new, but has a long way to go!). We have a 2 year old, a cat, and a dog. They like to think they run our life.

I love Jesus. Sometimes I’m awful at it. Other times I’m awful at it. And still others I’m just plain awful at it. But I am trying. This is what I love about the grace of God and the hope it brings. I try to point others to Him so that not much is ever made of me – stick with me on that journey.

I love my wife. She is incredible. And beautiful. She is funny, and smart. She is the best baker I have ever met. She loves me unconditionally, and serves me with a joyful heart. I try to do the same for her. She is the best mom I have ever known, and I can’t imagine being on the parenting journey with anyone but her.

I love the internet. There are so many wonderful things out there – I know there a bad things out there too. I love that it’s given a voice to so many, even if some of us (Yes I’m including myself) maybe ought to keep our voices to ourselves sometimes.

I love to write. It’s a great outlet. I hope you enjoy it. If you don’t, there’s plenty of other stuff out there for you to read.

I love my dog and my cat. They make our life crazy, but I can’t imagine not having them around.

I love my job. Students have a great optimism about life that makes them open to who Jesus is, who He wants to be in their life, and what He wants to do in the world.

That’s probably enough for you to know about me for now. Most anything else you’ll probably find out by reading more here.

Grace and Peace,
David Stippick
